Probably normal: Numbness in the pelvis during pregnancy usually reflects pressure on this area from the weight of the uterus and the baby as pregnancy progresses. One of the best ways of temporarily relieving the pressure is to get in a swimming pool. This also helps drive the excess water retention of pregnancy back into the blood stream. This can make urination more frequent to excrete this "water".
