Cyst : Warm compresses are helpful. A dermatologist may inject the area with corticosteroid and prescribe antibiotics or lance and drain the cyst. See a physician for treatment to avoid infection.

Sounds like: A sebacious cyst and the only way to completely get rid of it for good is surgical removal. Oftentimes it is an office procedure and there is no down time. It usually can be done in about an 1 1/2 hr in an office that routinely does this.. If you treat it with antibiotics it might shrink a bit for now but it will keep returning. It may need antibiotics now to treat.
