Cough: Was he sick? Does he have allergies? Does he have asthma, trouble breathing, chest tightness? If the latter are positive, the cough will not be improved with antihistamines, he will need an inhaler. If he has nasal congestion, a saline nasal spray can improve the post nasal drip that is triggering the cough.
