Absolutely: Soft drinks contain a great deal of sugar your body does not really need. Cutting out soft drinks will reduce the amount of sugar you consume greatly. If you are drinking diet drinks, there are reports that show that artificial sweeteners are far from benign substitutes. Water is a better choice, or a freshly extracted fruit or vegetable juice.
