No other foods: Avoid or limit ethanol use, as verapamil can increase blood levels. There are herbal supplements you should avoid, if verapamil is being used to treat high blood pressure. However, this is not relevant if you are taking it only for rate control of a supraventricular tachyarrhythmia.
