6-12 days: Normally pregnancy test would be positive 6 to 12 days after conception, that is if you become pregnant , the test may not be positive until then.

3 weeks: You should take the test in three weeks, if you do not get a period by then. If the test is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. A negative result from a test done earlier would not exclude pregnancy. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time.
