Yes: Stay well hydrated (at least 8 - 8 ounces glasses of water per day). Try to get in 5 servings of vegetables and 4 servings of fruit per day – get that fiber in. Stay physically active.

In addition: if currently constipated stay on a liquid diet only and take Mil of Magnesia 2 tbsp daily until completely cleared out then follow Dr Fowlers advice. eat healthy and you do not need to take fiber supplements such as Metamucil or fibercon
