Depends on severity: Ideally, we would prefer that patients don't have any concussions. However, these do happen. The concern with multiple concussions is their cumulative effect. Concussion: Even one concussion can be "too much" if it's severe enough. But with each concussion that a person has, their chances of having ongoing symptoms and long term problems worsens. It's best to get checked .
