What causes easy bruising? and what can happen if you don't take care of it right away?

Depends: Easy bruisability can be caused by several reasons. First are you taking Aspirin or Aspirin like products. Not to alarm you, but it is one of the early signs of leukemia. If you can't figure out a direct cause or remember being injured i would recommend you check with your physician.

Some reassurance: Many people, especially women, have "bruise easily." the important thing is not so much that you bruise with little apparent reason but that, when you do bruise, the bruises don't go away in a timely manner. If you have bruises that just don't go away, you definitely want to get that checked out.

Blood testing: avoid all aspirin and NSAUD products ( Advil/Aleve ). You will need to have your blood coagulation tests with Prpthrobin time/INR and APPT
