Low risk but some: There is a low risk of any issues with hpv in a newborn.This germ does not enter babies blood but might be passively acquired at delivery.There are recorded episodes of some who had genital lesions where infants with genital or vocal cord lesions develop in infancy.Inactive hpv is usually ignored.Some would do a c-section if genital lesions were active.
