Variable: Taking Clomid (clomiphene) while using human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) to trigger ovulation keeps Clomid (clomiphene) from overstimulating the ovaries. Continued Clomid (clomiphene) use without HCG has been shown to raise ovarian cancer risk later in life. Be careful with Clomid (clomiphene) if blurred vision occurs since it can be hard on the eyes and may cause retinal detachment at higher doses. Monitoring use is the key.
