Yes: Plan b is there, of course, because the better method plan a is not present. Plan b does work. The sooner it's taken the better it works. The effectiveness gradually decreases over the next 5 days a newer emergency contraception called Ella (ulipristal acetate) has more even effectiveness over the next 5 days.
