Treatment of recurrent boils?

Recurrent boils: Recurrent boils can be challenging. Make sure there is no underlying problem causing them such as diabetes, blood related issues. Antibiotics have been used to treat infection. Good hygiene of the area is important as well. I would recommend you see an infectious disease doc in the area who can examine you and provide you with good advice based on the exam and work up.

Local hygiene: Complete your wound care. I wld obtain a culture of your nares to make sure you are not a carrier of staph. I wld talk to your doctor about leaving you on antibiotics for several months. I wld shower with hibiclens for several weeks. Any question see a infectious disease doctor for advice.
