My toe nail is broken and discoloured . what is the treatment?

Injury?: Was there an injury? How much nail was lost? Condition of other nails? Much will be determined by the answers to these questions. It may take months to regain normal appearance.

See the podiatrist: Have a podiatrist check it in order to make sure the broken toenail did not damage the bed as well.

May have: Fungus which can cause it. A small portion of it taken by podiatrist to send as biopsy will determine if fungus or not. A lot are due to micro trauma.
