Dark stools: I assume you are not taking any iron supplements? This may indicate you have bleeding in your stomach, from an ulcer. You should seek medical attention immediately.

Stool: Dark black stool of normal consistency is probably ok. The color may be related to what you are eating. Itching in the back is less likely related to your stool color. What causes itchy back - hard to tell without further history & exam.
