Baby poo: Breast fed kids may go a little smear every feed, one seedy loose stool a day or one bulky soft stool a week.All are normal.A baby who gushes water like stool in quantity several times a day is having diarrhea.

Depends.: With breast feeding, even a very watery stool is ok. With formula, a watery stoo and/or more stools than feedings could be diarrhea. In any case, we mostly worry if there is dehydration (fewer than 3 wet diapers a day) or poor weight gain.
