I'm helping someone with clinical depression. what should i do?

Things to consider: Depression is a serious illness the symptoms of depression shouldn't be taken personally hiding the problem doesn't help the person and can make it worse you can't 'fix' a person's depression. You can ask them to see a psychologist (locate one here: locator.Apa.Org) listening to them is much more important than giving advice. Good luck, .
