I'm just wondering, if you swallow your chewing gum does it make you put on weight?

No: Chewing gu is not digested and it will pass right through you. So it will not cause you to put on weight.

It normally goes : Through you. Most of it can't be absorbed. Usually there isn't a problem as the gum will pass harmlessly through the body. However, there are rare cases of chewing gum bezoars which have occurred causing esophageal ; intestinal obstruction (http://pediatrics.Aappublications.Org/content/102/2/e22.Full).
