Maybe: A canadian study published online march 17 in the journal, annals of epidemiology, found that teenage boys who smoke are on average 2.54 centimetres shorter than non-smokers. Uncertain regarding chewing tobacco but likely similar risk. There are so many other risks to health from tobacco in any form it is advised to avoid all tobacco.
