Check it with dr: Chest pain in children can be as simple as muscle cramping in the chest wall, minor injury during activity, etc but could also be from asthma, pneumonia, heartburn, or other health issues. Heart-related chest pain at twelve is thankfully very rare, but not impossible. There is likely a solution, and when you know the answer, your child and you will feel better.
