I wanted to know when you have cancer, does your hair fall out or do you have to shave it?

Sometimes...: ...Not always. The cancer doesn't cause the hair to fall out, it's usually the treatment (usually chemo). But not all chemo makes the hair fall out. If radiation is needed to the head, hair can come out from that treatment as well. Some patients shave their head when the hair starts falling.
