Maybe not: Hpv is a virus which has more than 100 subtypes. Thirteen of these are associated with development of cervical dysplasia which may lead to cervical cancer. Viruses adapt well to attack by treating medicines. Many times, once a treatment works, viruses will change just enough to avoid being "killed" by the treatment provided. Flu viruses are similar so that flu vaccines are different every year.
