Could be herpes sore: It could be a herpes sore. Avoid giving your child peanut butter, other nuts and whole wheat bread. Lysine suppresses viruses and is an essential amino acid, so it should be very safe if crushed and given to your child. But because your child is so young, check with your pediatrician first.
