What kind of experience is it to be in late stage of cancer?

Symptoms vary: Late stage cancer is associated with many different symptoms depending on nature of tumor and site of metastasis. Tumors like lung, breast Ca and prostate frequently spread to bone and pain from expanding periosteum must be brought under control. Eventually all cases of metastatic tumor fail due to malignant stem cells. Goal is to control tumor for survival time and symptoms.
