Post surgery flight: Barring any complications from the procedure and barring any infections or fevers, i allow my patients to fly within two weeks of their surgeries.

Travel by plane: Not sure what you mean by keyhole gastric bypass but for my gastric bypass patients, i usually tell them to wait about a month before traveling outside of the country. There isn't anything inherently dangerous about being on a plane after surgery with the exception of forming a blood clot in your legs (the risk of which surgery increases). I'd wait at least a week before taking a short flight.
