No simple test: Unfortunately no simple tests--like blood tests or mris--can tell us if we have a personality disorder. If your gp has specialized training in psychiatry s/he may be able to help you with that. Most likely you would be referred to a psychologist or psychiatrist, and they typically use a thorough history and psychological testing to help answer your question. Your gp may help with a referral.
