A member asked:

How can you protect myself from being bullied?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Choose friends well: Once you identify a person who is verbally or physically mean toward you, avoid them. If you cannot avoid them as in the workplace, report the offensive behavior to your supervisor. It may meet the standard for a hostile workplace and the person would have to change his behavior to keep his job. If physically abusive, press charges. If it is upsetting you, see a therapist.
