Likely okay: A lot of women have some spotting like this in pregnancy. Brown just means old blood, as opposed to active bright red bleeding. It could be from your cervix, or it could be from the uterus. Best is to refrain from sex until you see your doctor and be sure to tell your doctor about the bleeding. If it becomes bright red, then go to the hospital, but hopefully it's just a brief episode!
