I tried a test run drinking a 10oz bottle of magnesium citrate. will be having colonoscopy 9/13, now very nauseous.how can i prevent nausea next time?

Check w/your: Doctor about their recommended prep for the colonoscopy, but most will induce diarrhea and sometime go upset. Try drinking it cold and as quickly as the label recommends.

Mag Citrate: Several options: chill and drink slowly. Have hot coffee/tea before to get intestines simulated in the correct direction. Use MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) the morning of and/or day before, again to get the tract flowing easily.
