RICE: Rest ice compression. Try to limit the motion in your ankle, use lots of ice and a compressive bandage to reduce the swelling . It also will help to take some otc Ibuprofen or naproxen. If it doesn't improve significantly ove a week or gets worse see a doctor.

RICE: Rest ice compression elevation if not better after 1 week see a podiatrist, if can't put weight on foot, skip the rice and see a podiatrist right away.

Many possibilities: R.I.C.E. Rest, ice, compression, elevation. Immobilization with a splint or brace may be of benefit in the initial phase of recovery. Oral anti-inflammatory medication may help with the pain and swelling. Once improved, mobilization and physical therapy can help restore strength and function. Healing times may vary.

Rest, ice, ace: ankle sprain can be initially treated with rest, ice, and compression with ace bandage or similar. Over the counter anti inflammatory meds (ibuprofen) can help with pain and swelling. A rehab program 5-10 days after is important for strengthening and preventing recurrence. See a foot/ankle specialist for a specific treatment plan.

Rest, sunshine: Rest, ice/heat whichever feels better, bracing, sunshine for 30-60 min/day at noon. Alternatively, vit D3 10k IU/day for 1-2 months since vitamin D is a healing and anti-inflammatory hormone.

Ankle Sprain: RICE R - rest by limiting walking for the first few days I - ice, apply crushed ice wrapped in cloth (e.g. a tea towel) for 20mins at a time every 2 hours for the first 2-3 days. This will help to reduce swelling. C - compression bandaging, helps to support your ankle while walking but probably doesn't hasten recovery E - elevate your leg on a chair/couch for as much of the day as possible

Rest, ice, compression,elevation of the foot 2.pain relief 3. if tender on boney prominences like the malleoli and base of 5 th metatarsal bone-- X-rays will be needed 4. physiotherapy review 5. moon boot- to mobilise to comfort. 6. if moon boot not available then crunchiness can be tried. 7. review with doctor in 10 days
