Continue to observe: Most causes for vomiting in children are not serious and often due to viral infections. Coexisting factors need to be considered. High fevers, bad headaches, change in mental status, pain that localizes to her lower right side as well as constant vomiting or diarrhea that may result in dehydration are all symptoms that should lead her to be examined sooner rather than observing.

Dehydration: Small kids tend to dehydrate - dry skin, dry diapers or few trips to bathroom in potty trained kids, less saliva and tear. If those signs are present, take her in. If none of those are present and you see that her vomiting has lessened, you may observe. Sips of fluids (rehydration solution or gatorade) should be tried. If able to keep, keep giving it to her frequently. If unable, take her in.
