VERY Low chance: This is a known mechanism of transfer, but it is very low chance. Most common path these days is IV drug abuse. Blood transfusion and organ transplants used to be a big problem before 1992, but since then it is highly unusual because the screening for hepc test is so dawn good.... Check with your doc if you are concnerned. Good luck.
