Antifungal/dryness: Athletes foot is caused by a fungal infection due to excessive perspiration in feet.To get rid of it you need antifungal powder or cream and to prevent it from coming back you need to avoid too much perspiration by wearing cotton socks, taking your shoes or sneakers off when inside to let the air in and to keep your feet dry.

OTC anti-fungal: Keep feet dry. Use over-the-counter anti-fungal powders as directed. Wear flip-flops when showering in public areas.
