Vasovagal: A vasovagal response is usually a reaction to a visual stimulus or stress, for example the sight of blood, did they check his blood glucose? May be he was hungry and was waiting standing too long and his blood sugar dropped and he passed out. Anyhow, not a big deal.

Good diagnosis: Vasovagal syncope just means a simple fainting spell and they didnt find anything serious. It can happen when we are stressed in certain ways (like pain or fright or heavy cough), especially if dehydrated. It can involve a nerve reaction which slows the heartbeat or opens blood vessels in the legs so the blood pools, when we are standing up. Keep hydrated. Prognosis generally good.
