Recovery Setback: During any course of psychotherapy, one can only work on a finite number of problems. A 'setback" can mean problems not addressed the first time around. It can also mean an internal or external overwhelming stress has pushed the limits of adaptation and "time to go back the the drawing board".

Not sure what type: Of recovery you mean. In general, a recovery setback is a return of symptoms while someone is in treatment.
