Does nuvaring have to stay refrigerated prior to usage?

Yes and No: Nuvaring must be refrigerated by pharmacies until it is dispensed to patients. After dispensed, you do not have to keep it refrigerated. It will be fine at room temperature. Shelf life is 4 months.
