A member asked:

I have shortness of breath often and unable to have sound sleep. just checked my bp. its 110/52 and pulse rate is 76. what should i do?

Normal: Your heart rate and BP are the essence of normality. You need an evaluation for breathlessness which typically would include a chest x-ray, ekg, echocardiogram, & blood work for anemia (cbc), thyroid (tsh), abnormal clotting (d-dimer), cardiac function (bnp), and renal function (basic chemistry). Sometimes special breathing tests (pfts) and/or ct scans are indicated. Good luck!
