Possible reason to: Talk with a psychotherapist to help you understand what is happening. If it seems too severe to handle with cbt talk therapy, a referral for medication may be useful. But it is certainly possible that you will find ways to deal with the stresses in your life and recover lost energy and feel better. Good luck!

Panic attack?: Wave of anxiety which can rattle you is called a anxiety attack or panic attack. It's scary enough that one is afraid of its coming back and at times it is unexpected. It's part of many disorders; depression, anxiety and panic disorder. Some medical issues can cause it: thyroid, dm heart issues etc. But it can be a normal reaction to any stressful life situation too. Do get evaluated.
