Does chemo affect cardiomyopathy?

Yes?: Certain types of chemotherapy can cause cardiomyopathy, as can radiation therapy delivered to the chest. If someone already has cardiomyopathy, special precautions would be required to monitor heart function and to try to avoid causing additional heart damage.
