There is a significant risk of cardiovascular and other causes of death when such patients are put on a drug like seroquel (quetiapine). Sometimes safest: The patient who exhibits increasing behavioral disruption will likely require a drug such as seroquel (quetiapine) to control dangerous activity, but there is a risk in elderly of stroke, and cardiac complications.
