Are there practical ways to reduce the odds of recurrent vaginal infections?

There are ways: No douching, reduce/don't use tampons, or excessive cleansing, and use clothing that allows good air-exchange. Also, don't use antibiotics unless you really have to--antibiotics kill off good bacteria and allow bad ones to grow and cause bv. Probiotic use may help. Keep healthy, treat medical condition such as diabetes as best as you can. Check with your doc regularly good luck.
