Low TSH unlikely: Thyroid cancer usually does not cause a low TSH (unless you are taking thyroid hormone). Most thyroid cancers do not function as well as normal thyroid tissue. Elevated thyroglobulin is a nonspecific finding, seen in most disorders of the thyroid. It can serve as a tumor marker for recurrent thyroid cancer as long as the thyroid has been completely removed. High tg has nothing to do with tsh.
