I am having shoulder replacement surgery but have burst water blister on breast should i be worried about infection? it looks ok.

When in doubt- wait: As a shoulder specialist, i would rather postpone any elective case if there is any question. You are having a permenant implant placed into your body. The last thing you want is an infection. If it were a scope procedure i would probably be ok with it. Better safe than sorry!

Tell your surgeon: Before any surgery, you want to make sure to tell your surgeon if there are any changes to your medical condition, particularly something like this. Your surgeon can then decide if your blister has healed enough to be a non-issue or if it may make more sense to postpone the surgery.
