A member asked:

Out of 6 siblings , i have sle, a sister has sjogrens, and a brother has sarcoid. does that increase the odds my son will have lupus?

Yes: Your son is at increased risk of an autoimmune disorder like lupus (sle) based on the family history. Clearly that is not an absolute indication that he will have problems, but the potential is there. I would make sure that his doctor is aware of the family history.
