A member asked:

Can a penile yeast infection turn into a systemic yeast infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Generally not: Unless you have a life-threatening immune deficiency. Your yeast infection does, however, need to be treated -- and your sexual partner or partners need to be treated at the same time to avoid reinfection.
