Lubrication: If this is done first with the area as clean as possible, even an enema is helpful, lubrication is recommended and a gentle loving process then it is probably ok. If you have lots of feces and the action causes tears in your skin then you are setting yourself up for infection. These muscles can be exercised and kept in good tone by doing kegel exercises.
