Couple of thoughts: 1) did it just start when you started crestor (rosuvastatin)? 2) does it stop within a week of stopping crestor (rosuvastatin)? 3) how long have you had this - is it consistent with restless leg syndrome? 4) does it get better with plantar/calf stretching (put the ball of your foot on the edge of a step and let your heel drop off, hold for 30 sec). All of the above can help your doc pinpoint the issue. Can't say yet though.

You can try: Taking coenzyme q10 along with the crestor (rosuvastatin). I would consider magnesium supplements as well. Discuss with your internist.
