I need a straight answer. what is delayed sleep phase?

Sleep onset: This usually means that the normal sleep cycle is delayed. For example, if it is normal to sleep from 10 pm to 6 am, a delayed pattern would be sleeping from 11 pm to 7 am. The time from sleep onset to the first rem period may differ in conditions like depression.

Delayed sleep phase: Disorder is an inability to fall asleep at a "normal" time. Patients can't fall asleep before 2-6 am. As a result, you can't wake up before 10am to 1 pm. If you must get up, you feel tired/sleepy till late afternoon. This creates job performance and relationship problems.
