A member asked:

When after smoking can i donate blood?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not an problem.: Smoking is not a reason to be rejected for blood donation. However, some people have bad reactions if they smoke right after donating. Waiting 3 hours after donation to smoke seems a common recommendation. Otherwise you might have a drop in blood pressure and faint after donating.
