Had a hemorrhoidectomy a week ago. i feel something hard right at the anal canal, it's sore and burns. is it an anal fissure or a muscle ?

Surgery Culture: I know we are here to help, but surgeons use post op complications and pain as a guide for when they have to see a patient or to know if things are not going well in the recovery phase. Given your concern by the number of questions here i would advise you to get ahold of your surgeon. There should also be some notes or papers that you were given at surgery to explain the norms post op.

Probably surgery sit: You are probably feeling the area where the hemorrhoids was removed. The burning is normal.
